In short
We collect no data about you or your child. The app runs entirely on the device, offline. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, and no crash reporting that sends anything anywhere.
In the store declarations (“Data safety” on Google Play, “App Privacy” on the App Store) we state Data Not Collected — and that is the literal truth, not a simplification.
What stays on the device
The app stores the following in the phone's own storage, locally and only there:

This data never leaves the device. Neither we nor anyone else can reach it. Uninstalling the app deletes it along with the app.
Payment
The one-off payment for the audio recordings goes through the store only — Google Play or the App Store. The store handles the payment and the store, not us, receives the billing details. We never see your card, address or name. The app asks the store one thing only: whether this purchase exists.
The stores' own privacy terms are published by Google and Apple.
Internet
The app works fully offline. The only network request that can occur is the question to the store about your purchase. Tale texts, recordings and illustrations ship inside the app — nothing is downloaded while you use it.
Children
The app is made for children and is designed to meet the requirements of Google Play Families and the App Store rules for children's apps. We collect no data, so we collect none from children either. The purchase screen is behind a question meant for an adult.
Permissions
The app does not request access to the camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos or notifications.
Changes
If we ever change the app so that it sends any data at all, we will update this page and the store declarations before releasing that version.
